Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What is the difference between Malaysia United Firewall and One Voice Movement?

While we highly respect the Malaysia United Firewall (MUFW) and their amazing work in building 24/7 prayer altars across the country, One Voice Movement (OVM) has a completely different focus, structure, and mandate.

Here is a simple, direct way to explain the differences:

Shift from "Continuous Intercession" to a "Strategic Quorum"

Firewall: Functions primarily as a continuous, 24-hour defensive prayer shield. It is about keeping the "fire" on the altar burning unceasingly through scheduled prayer slots.

One Voice: Functions as a quorum. It is an offensive, gathering movement. We use technology (the QR code) to mathematically and spiritually pull together the scattered, uncounted numbers of grassroots believers into one massive block. When a national issue arises, we don't just pray in shifts; we release a unified, simultaneous roar from thousands of voices at the exact same moment.

Shift from "All Denominations" to "The Forgotten Grassroots"

Firewall: Is heavily structured around partnerships with established denominations, major city churches, and existing prayer networks across all language streams.

One Voice: Specifically champions the independent, shop-lot, and small-town churches that are usually left out or neglected by major bodies. We are building a home for the "isolated outposts" so they realise they are part of a mighty army.

Shift from a "Prayer Ministry" to a "Prophetic Forefront Voice"

The Firewall: Is strictly a prayer movement focusing on intercession, repentance, and standing in the gap for the nation behind closed doors.

One Voice: Is a forefront prophetic movement. While prayer is our foundation, our goal is also to galvanize the collective weight of Christians so we can stand as a visible, forward-thinking, and unignorable prophetic presence in Malaysia. We are moving from the secret place to the public forefront.

Shift from "Administrative Boards" to a "Clean Engine"

The Firewall: Relies on a wide, collaborative network of leaders and representatives from various organizational bodies to steer the effort.

One Voice: Is intentionally kept "clean" from ecclesiastical politics. It is fully anchored and driven by The Rock Shammah Ministry. Joining pastors don’t have to worry about administrative burdens, board meetings, or denominational control. We handle the engine so they can simply lend their voice.

Compiled Questions & Answers From Elder Marcel

1. Is the One Voice Movement a new church denomination?

No. We are not a denomination. We are a network and platform for independent churches and leaders. We do not want to control your church with religious bureaucracy. Instead, we offer peer-level accountability, structural support, and a shared mission while honoring your church's independence.

2. Who is the One Voice Movement for?

We welcome independent pastors, leaders, and everyday believers who want to serve God authentically, free from the politics of man-made religion. If you have stepped away from traditional structures in search of deeper sincerity, biblical truth, and Kingdom order, you have a home with us.

3. What is the main purpose of the One Voice Movement (OVM)?

The core purpose of OVM is to bring authentic spiritual renewal to Malaysia by uniting independent churches and leaders. We exist to restore true Apostolic and Prophetic leadership, break the mold of man-made religious traditions, and equip believers to step into their Kingdom authority. Ultimately, our goal is to move the church "from gathering to sending" and prepare the foundation for a nationwide awakening.

4. Is OVM just a prayer group or a prayer network?

Prayer, intercession, and prophetic worship are at the absolute core of who we are, but OVM is much more than a prayer group. We are an apostolic network focused on action and infrastructure.

5. How do I get involved?

It is time to move from gathering to sending. You can join the movement by connecting with us at one of our upcoming events, scanning our connection QR code, or reaching out through the "Contact Us" page on this website.

6. What is the next step after scanning the QR code?

Once you scan the code and fill in your details, a member of our leadership network will reach out to you. We will invite you to our upcoming gatherings, connect you with peer leaders, and share practical ways you or your ministry can begin aligning with the movement.
